Intern - Immigration law firm

I did work experience at a law firm for 4 days where I improved my communication with clients and learned to work well with the team. While interning at a law firm, I gained valuable experience in collaborative environments. Working alongside attorneys and paralegals, I learned the importance of clear communication and teamwork in handling case files and preparing legal documents.

We often had to coordinate our efforts, ensuring all tasks were completed accurately and efficiently to meet deadlines. This experience highlighted how effective collaboration is crucial for success in a professional setting. I've got some solid experience from working at a law firm.

A big part of my role involved talking with clients to get all the details needed to help them fill out their forms accurately. It was all about clear communication and making sure I understood their situation to assist them best.

Teacher/Support Staff - Primary school

I work in a primary school for 6 days helping children, which has taught me patience and how to communicate well with young students. I've become really skilled at adjusting my communication for different ages. For the younger kids, I keep it simple with clear words and visuals.

For the older ones, I can handle more complex language and encourage deeper thinking. It's all about being flexible and effective with each age group. During my work experience at a primary school, I quickly realized how crucial facial expressions are when talking to kids.

Seeing their faces light up when I smiled or looked concerned when they were sad made a huge difference in how they responded to me. It taught me a lot about connecting with people on a deeper level, even without words.
