After completing my studies at the Islamic university of Madinah, I returned to the United Kingdom and continued my journey in higher education. I enrolled on to a PGCE course (Post Graduation Certificate of Education). After graduation I then began working in a local High School as a teaching assistant in Cardiff UK. Many of our children are from different backgrounds where English is their second language and so we cater and accommodate to EAL needs. I am currently preparing for my QTLS and CELTA and hope to acquire my Celta this year. I have spent the last two years developing my teaching skills and knowledge base to become a teacher. I have become accustom with the roles and responsibilities of the teaching position. I also work with children and adults who have autism and have done for many years. I also spent nine years in Saudi Arabia, so I am accustomed to the language and culture. My wife and I loved our time there and though I were born and raised in the United Kingdom, there is a special place in my heart and for the Middle East in general. I work as a teaching assistant, but I have taught English privately and I have a huge drive and ambition to work in the middle east as a teacher. I am hard working, approachable and willing to go the extra mile if I am giving this opportunity.
Working in a secondary school in the United Kingdom alongside learners in the mainstream as well as those with EAL, SEN, and autism needs.
