Wendy Prickett

I have spent my career life in the UK working for the NHS or as a civil servant. In 1996 I left to work in California USA. As you cannot be a civil servant if not a citizen in the US I have been working in the private sector.

All my roles have been as an Administrator supporting a department group. My last role at Agilent Technologies I supported the HQs taxation department.

I am a good fit for the Disability Role as I find it easy to apply rules and follow guidelines. In addition I am very friendly as at Mind in 2020 my volunteer role was as a welcome Greeter at the Safe Haven Cafe, which they have now converted to a paid position. I also welcomed all cross section of Hereford residents at the Living Room.

All my relatives were farmers in Herefordshire and I know the county very well.

As I outlined in my covering letter I worked as a civil servant or NHS employee upto 1996. Since returning to Herefordshire in 2017, I have volunteered for Mind Herefordshire and The Living Room Hereford.

My degree is BA Hons in Public Administration
