William Izoghene Jr

Have great teamwork skills and also very helpful easygoing and friendly as I believe my communication skills are very good to help connect with certain colleagues. I am a hardworking and motivated young person who is currently studying at college while continuing to develop my skills both on and off the football pitch. My past football experiences have helped me grow into a more confident and disciplined young man by improving my teamwork, communication, leadership and time management skills.

Playing football has also taught me how to stay focused under pressure, work towards goals and show commitment in everyday life. Alongside my sports experience, I also have reasonable I.T skills after studying I.T at GCSE level in school. I am confident using computers for research, presentations and general coursework tasks.

Balancing college studies with football has helped me become organised, reliable and determined to improve myself every day. I enjoy learning new skills and I am always willing to work hard and support others in team environments. I am currently part of the NCFC Fast Track Programme, which is helping me develop both as a footballer and as a young person.

Through this programme, I am gaining valuable experience in a high-performance environment and learning the importance of responsibility, commitment, and maintaining a positive attitude. It has helped me become more confident, organised, and reliable while pushing me to achieve my goals. Alongside this, I play for Clifton's First Team, which has given me the opportunity to socialise and work with people who are older and more experienced than me.

This has improved my communication skills and taught me how to build positive relationships with a wide range of people. I am not afraid to be myself and always aim to be respectful, helpful, and supportive to those around me. Football has also helped me develop resilience, as I have learned how to overcome challenges, stay motivated, and continue working hard even when things do not go my way.

These experiences have helped me grow into a mature and dependable young person.
