In my previous roles I have worked in manual labour on production lines predominantly, often with an emphasis on quality control. I pride myself in having a keen eye for detail and being able to ensure the products meet our customers high standards. I also have experience in maintaining clear communication with other team members and often delegating tasks accordingly.
In my last job however I mostly provided admin duties such as maintaining and updating databases, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure jobs were completed efficiently and by the deadline.
Factory Labourer - Selden Research Ltd.

In my previous employment, my duties covered assisting with the manufacturing and packaging of cleaning products, as well as dealing with the location and acquisition of various materials necessary for the job from our warehouse. Along with this I would also help to prep the machine for these jobs by inputting barcodes, customer information and other product information as well as helping to maintain a high standard of cleanliness of the equipment. I would also help to maintaining a record of our jobs by completing and filing paperwork after the jobs completion.
This also gave me experience as working as a unit and communicating with colleagues on which tasks need to be fulfilled. Finally I would assess the level of danger of working with certain products and what action would be taken to prevent any harm coming to my colleagues.
Quality Inspector - Hoya Lens Ltd.

While working at Hoya my duties included intensive quality control checks in the lens department. I inspected up to 30 pairs of glasses every hour, being sure to flag any quality issues and more importantly that the customers prescription was correct before passing the job to our shipping department to be returned to the opticians. In this role I developed a keen eye for detail and maintained a high standard of quality as well as learning to work quickly to meet deadlines and ensure a positive reputation for the company.
Office Worker - Alliance Norse

During my time at Alliance my duties included using in-house software to raise jobs for our engineers as well as communicate with customers and the local council to resolve issues. I also worked hard at maintaining spreadsheets and databases as well as tracking jobs and tasks making sure outstanding work was seen to in a timely manner. I also maintained a positive working relationship with both my team and other departments within the company.
