I have recently been made redundant due to a reduction in staffing levels. I had been working as a general farm worker/ stockman, including using fork lift, gps tractor with autosteer. During shed construction I laid concrete, did drainage work.
I am honest, reliable and hard working. I am happy to work as part of a team but can equally work on my own without supervision. I am competent with a range of machinery and have good animal husbandry and general farm maintenance skills.
Other employment has included working with a 360 excavator, roller, forward tipping dumper. I have CITB health safety and environment test booked for 9th of July and a 360 excavator test booked for 17th of August. I am a non smoker and hold a full clean UK driving licence.
I also had (expired) telehandler CPCS card. I have a Lantra awards certificate of competence in rough terrain telescopic lift trucks.

I did general farm work including animal husbandry, farm maintenance and arable work. This included driving tractors with GPS and autosteer, 180 excavator, telescopic fork lift, industrial fork lift. Other than stock care I was part of a team constructing farm sheds, maintaining drains, fencing and in general keeping the farm tidy and safe.

Worked on this family run dairy farm until being made redundant from this position due to dairy herd being dispersed. Was in sole charge of milking the herd, calving, feeding young calves. I gained extensive experience of all aspects of farm work including tractor work, silage making, fertiliser spreading and all work associated with grassland management.
Always used a telehandler on a daily basis feeding cattle with a complete diet feeder. Other duties included livestock care and record keeping, fencing and general farm maintenance was also undertaken. I was able to take full responsibility for the running of the farm in the owners absence.
