During my time with London Underground (1989–1995), I supervised staff across multiple stations, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day operations and maintaining high standards of safety, punctuality, and customer service. I coordinated incident response activities, working closely with BT Police and revenue protection teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally. My role also involved directing staff training, supporting new and existing team members, and ensuring operational continuity across both day and night shifts.

This experience gave me a deep understanding of station operations, stakeholder communication, and the importance of calm, decisive leadership in fast‑moving environments.

My professional development reflects my commitment to strong leadership and continuous improvement. I am currently completing CMI Level 5 and hold qualifications in Project Management Level 5, Passport to Management, Stress Awareness, Managing Conflict, Introduction to Coaching, Dignity & Respect, and Information Governance. These programmes have strengthened my ability to lead teams effectively, manage performance, and maintain compliance with organisational and regulatory standards.

I bring a broad skill set that includes transport operations, fleet and asset management, staff leadership, route planning, logistics strategy, budget control, and health and safety management. I am highly results‑oriented, with a strong customer focus and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels. My background has equipped me with the confidence to make informed decisions, support staff development, and maintain a safe, efficient, and customer‑centred environment.
