• Receive and compile a Dispatch Resource Status report daily with FDI weather (SOP – Dispatch Morning Report)
• Maintain and sign a daily attendance register of self.
• Authorize Ground Crew operational movements (Call Take interrogation SOP).
• Physical dispatch of Ground Resources (T3 & T1 Dispatch & related Coordination procedures - SOP).
• Assist with Cross Regional /Cross Provincial Ground resource movements (SOP: Cross Regional/Provincial Resource order and travel following).
• Understand and apply the Dispatch & Coordination Communications systems.
• Keep a manual operational Occurrence Log OB Book as per requirement.
• Understand and utilise the T Card system.
• Complete Manual Operations Reports within set time frames.
• 24 hour active dispatch centre with staff shift rotations changing to day rotations from 01/04/2018
• Understand, display and relay information to activate the current Company Emergency Response Plan (ER24 activation and ProCo communications plan).
• Understand and apply the relevant Software programs – Vital Fire Weather.
• Complete and supply month end statistics and relevant reports as per departmental requirements.
• Attend compulsory monthly Dispatch meetings.
• Establish and display the relevant deployable resources, current FDI and forecast FDI on a white board – update daily.
• Attend required/compulsory training – pass rate 80%.
• Attend required operational safety meetings and fire de-briefs.
• General office duties and office management.
• Comply with the relevant required month end procedures - Financial, administration and statistics.
• Build professional work relationships with colleagues, partners, clients and management
