I have a teaching and journalistic background with extensive transferable skills more related to linguistic skills. I speak Tigrigna and Amharic languages fluently as my mother tongue and have deep knowledge of the culture and tradition of both speakers of the languages.

Information, Advice and Guidance on housing, health and education in person and through telephone helpline, working as a Support worker and Learning support assistant I am passionate to support people who are in need of support. I am a self-motivated, polite, and hard-working individual, who works effectively both within a team and individually on my own initiative. I am looking to join an organisation where my skills can be developed whilst, building on existing experiences.

Working as a Night Housing Supported Assistant (support worker) for children & young people at the Centre Point.

• Maintain Leaving Care Accommodation to high standards, ensuring legal and statutory compliance, and manage building security and access.
• Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the highest possible standards of accommodation.
• Respond appropriately to welfare concerns, including Safeguarding, child protection and vulnerable adult issues, and follow the procedures in collaboration with management.
