Experience
Solidity Developer at Anomalous Materials (2022-06 – 2023-08)
- Responsible for the backend implementation of a project consisting of 4900 lines of solidity code. The project revolved around using SVG strings to dynamically create images completely on chain. The main challenges with this approach was the composition and placement logic which are based on a random seed. The project also implements a novel auction approach similar to an English auction which serves the purpose of eliminating the need to set a fixed price.
- Researched techniques to save gas such as using ERC721A instead of Openzeppelin’s ERC721 and Bitmaps instead of standard mappings. This resulted in significant gas savings for both users and the company.
- Pushed to get the code audited then found and helped to interview an auditor that fit within our budget. The auditor was very happy with the quality of the codebase and the technical documentation provided.
- Developed using the Foundry framework, deployed to Ethereum mainnet. Integrates popular libraries/contracts such as Chainlink VRF, Solady and ERC721A.
Developer Support Associate at Overmind (2023-11 – 2024-04)
- Responsible for technical and non-technical support for users, across a range of channels including Discord and email.
- Wrote documentation aimed at new users providing them with the resources they needed to start using the platform.
- Technical support was mainly helping users with questions regarding the Move programming language on Aptos and Sui blockchains.
- Helped test and gave feedback on coding challenges before they were released to users.
Security Researcher (2024-05 – 2026-07)
- Competed in Audit contests and bug bounty programs across multiple platforms including: Cantina, Code4rena and Sherlock
- Successfully used formal verification to prove certain properties of smart contracts adhered to the desired spec. Competed in the first Rust language formal verification contest and had multiple rules included in the final report.
- Found bugs in audit contests for multiple languages including Solidity, Move and Rust.
