I am currently a person senior banker with 8+ years experience in the role. I am looking to change career paths and use my skills and experience to move into the insurance sector.
Our “right first time” policy means I delivered accurate documentation and information, ensuring that all work is completed within SLAs and contributes positively to business KPIs. This ensures that a high level of service is maintained.
Another duty was to resolve complaints at first point of contact, ensuring that a fair and satisfactory outcome was achieved for both the bank and customer. Where the complaint requires escalation, I am capable of capturing the necessary details and escalating accordingly, whilst managing the client’s expectations.
I work with multiple systems to gather information and deal with customer queries. When dealing with our client’s accounts, accuracy is of the utmost importance, therefore an eye for detail and an analytical approach are imperative.
I am able to quickly navigate and assess information across multiple systems in order to effectively serve our clients. This includes drawing from financial, personal and historical data to build clear a picture of their profile and identify the best course of action when resolving a client’s query.
I have also studied for and achieved a chartered banking accreditation.
Beyond my current duties, I have a side-of-desk role as my team’s feedback and implementation champion. This duty afforded me greater insight into our current systems and processes, granting me a platform to collaboratively streamline processes and improve systems for my business area. Thereafter, I delivered the training and rolling out of these new business practices and processes.
It was my responsibility to secure new business and market myself effectively to potential clients. This was achieved by delivering an exceptional product and service. My consistent delivery of a high quality product/service led to a perfect 5-star score with over fifty orders complete. I was awarded platform wide recognition for the high quality of work I delivered to my clients and was endorsed as a trusted service.
Due to the business’ nature, I frequently managed several clients at once, each with their own briefs and strict deadlines for delivery. This required a meticulous and methodical approach to organisation to ensure that all deliverables were completed accurately and on time.

I edited and proofed content for forty seven content providers, bringing their copy in line with our branding and making sure all content across the 1000+ web pages was up to date and accurate.
Managed to secure business with a multinational bank that was moving its business to the UK. My work helped the business secure its first £100,000 day in sales.
