Pasta chef at Zizzi (2021-01 – 2023-12)

I started my career at Zizzi as a prep chef/dessert chef but due to my hard work and dedication to the job I was quickly promoted to prepare and cook pasta and side dishes.

• Displayed key communication skills when training new staff members on knife skills, presentation and frying and was patient and non-judgemental if they were struggling.
• Constantly learning new dishes from memory and having high presentation skills.
• I have learnt how to work well under high pressure and to not get discouraged when things go wrong.

Mentor at Second Step (2024-01 – 2024-12)

Volunteered at Second Step where I offered one to one mentoring, providing emotional and practical support where needed to individuals with mental health issues. Emotionally, I offer empathy and reassurance, helping individuals to cope with anxiety and isolation. Practically, I assist with setting goals, connecting with relevant resources and creating action plans to achieve their goals.
