I am looking for a customer service position as I am confident, friendly, talkative and I enjoy interacting with people on a daily basis. I think working in customer service not only is best suited for me but also I am able to show my personality and communication is also key as it shows that you are showing you are interested in listening to the customer's issue as well as showing empathy towards your customers as it shows your understanding. Another key skill to have is stress management and dealing with it by being patient by not only resolving the issue but handling it when customers are not happy and trying to solve this to ensure all customers are satisfied with the service.
My professional experience is working in Currys, as I was working in retail it has many advantages to this as it has allowed me to gain many skills such as customer service skills, interacting with customers in different age groups and background. Also, working as a team helped as listening to other colleagues at the workplace showed great initiative and enthusiasm.
I have a degree in Bs Hons in Social care and Health studies which led to many presentations and group work and this involved working as a team and being a team leader which I always volunteered as it is important to have good ownership skills and lead a team successfully. This has also taught me to listen to other people and listen to their points of view.
