• Observed two surgical procedures in the operating theatre, gaining insight into sterile protocols, teamwork and the responsibilities of the multidisciplinary team before, during, and after surgery.
• Attended ward rounds and learnt about patient consultation, diagnostic processes, and the importance of communication, confidentiality, and patient safety.
