I have babysitting experience with young children of the ages from 5-7. As this time period was during Covid-19 I was given the opportunity to teach safety precautions in a fun and engaging way for her to understand; which helped me later in life as it helped me learn how to explain rules and demonstrations in simpler terms for other people, whilst having patience.
House Ambassador - Channing School for Girls

At channing school I was given the opportunity to be a house ambassador and be a representative for the members in my form. This taught me to be a voice for other people and communicate their views.
Bronze DOfE Team Leader - Channing School for Girls

I was nominated the team leader by my group mates which meant I had the responsibility to assign everyone tasks and ensure the map route and any follow up queries were completed. Although I am still in the process of completing my Dofe, the experience has taught me it's okay to be vulnerable and rely on other people to guide me.
Event Coordinator - Channing School for Girls
Through numerous events that I have taken majority responsibility in hosting over the years I have been able to improve and demonstrate great communication and management skills. Especially when faced with difficult situations that require fast and effective problem solving. For example, I hosted an event consisting of 50 guests where I arranged a seating chart and planned a 3 course meal to go along side any food allergies.
Badminton Team Member - Channing School for Girls

I participated in Channing Schools badminton club for 3 consecutive school years. Although they did not host any tournaments, the club allowed me to practice my team building skills and socialise with people who I have never spoken to before, therefore broadening my horizons with many different individuals.

Park run consisted of a 5km run every Saturday morning. This helped me build resilience and improve my consistency as it was during the winter months where it was often still dark outside. Yet, I got out of my comfort zone and ran despite the uncomfortable weather. Allowing me to adapt to situations that are not always ideal.
