Based in Ghana, CodeBridge Africa offers both online and in-person programs to students across Africa.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Accra for a Coding Tutor/Instructor. The role involves teaching core programming concepts, guiding students through interactive lessons and coding projects, and developing lesson plans and course materials. The instructor will provide personalized support, facilitate group discussions, and evaluate student progress.

Additionally, the role requires collaboration with the curriculum development team to enhance teaching methodologies and ensure the content remains relevant to current industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java, and experience with web development frameworks.
• Strong instructional skills, including patience, clarity in explaining concepts, and the ability to engage and inspire students with diverse skill levels.
• Experience in designing curriculum, creating educational content, and using tools for interactive learning.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills in software development and debugging techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
• Passion for education and a strong commitment to empowering learners with technical knowledge.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience in programming and teaching.
• Prior experience as a coding instructor or tutor is highly desirable but not mandatory.
