Job Title: Accountant

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. You will record supplier/expense invoices, prepare the company's monthly tax filings, and monitor project costing files, making sure everything is accurate and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Recording and processing supplier and expense invoices in the ERP system
• Preparing monthly tax filings, including:
  • VAT returns
  • VIES recapitulative statements
  • Withholding tax returns
• Monitoring and maintaining project costing files, ensuring all costs are correctly allocated to each project
• Reconciling supplier accounts and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities
• Keeping accounting records accurate and well organized
• Working with internal departments, project managers on accounting matters

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Preferably 3 - 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Greek accounting standards and tax legislation
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and MS Excel skills
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Accounting license (Class A or B) will be considered an asset
