Immediate Full-Time Permanent Position A U.S.-based company with a recently established office in Athens and a fabrication facility in Aspropirgos, Greece, is seeking an Engineering Administrative Assistant to support shop operations and engineering administration.
Fabrication Designs manufactures specialized building façade systems for high-security building applications, including U.S. Embassy facilities worldwide.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The position reports to the Plant Manager and works in coordination with the Operations Team in the Athens office.
Assist in maintaining inventory and fixed assets of the Aspropirgos fabrication shop
Perform quality assurance checks on steel and/or aluminum materials prior to shipment
Operate milling machinery (upon training)
Maintain warehouse receiving process checklists
Prepare, organize, and archive:
Communicate with engineers, project administrators, vendors, and purchasing agents
Prepare and edit shipping and packing documentation (Word processing)
Monitor and manage office supply inventory
Support engineering staff with preparation of technical reports
Assist in improving shop organization, documentation flow, and operational processes
The fabrication facility is currently undergoing operational structuring and improvement. The successful candidate should be comfortable contributing to organizational improvements and hands-on coordination within a developing shop environment.
Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (minimum 5 years of practical use)
Experience with administrative and clerical tasks
Knowledge of 2D and 3D design software
Experience or familiarity with construction or manufacturing industry (preferred)
Excellent multitasking and organizational ability
Friendly, professional, and proactive attitude
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Ability to commute daily to Aspropirgos
Willingness to work fully on-site
