Financial Analyst

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support the Finance Dpt in our HQ, located in Αthens.

The successful candidate will support reporting, budgeting and credit control, contributing to accurate financial reporting and providing insights to support business decision-making across the organization.

Key responsibilities include:

• Support the financial planning and controlling process, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and standards.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes, working closely with internal departments and functions
• Assist in costing analysis and pre-costing module.
• Perform cash flow analysis, monitor working capital, and support liquidity management activities.
• Analyze financial and operational results, identify trends and potential risks, and prepare relevant reports.
• Monitor customer and supplier exposure in line with internal policies and guidelines.
• Monitor customers’ credibility through ICAP reports and credit insurances.
• Monitor company’s receivables factoring process.
• Monitor credit control process and customers’ balances.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial planning and controlling processes.

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• 3-6 years of professional experience in finance roles, ideally in Industrial sectors or Audit firms.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/ Finance or related field (Master's degree is a plus).
• Basic to good understanding of Accounting and Journal entries recording.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills. Microsoft 365 Business Central experience preferred.
• Fluency in English and Greek.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
