Full Stack Engineer — Node.js & React

We are collaborating with a leading trading and financial services firm that is looking to expand its technology team with an experienced Full Stack Engineer.

We are seeking a developer with 5+ years of professional JavaScript experience and strong expertise in Node.js and React. You will play an important role in designing, developing, and continuously improving scalable applications across both the frontend and backend, working closely with engineers and business stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain reliable, scalable applications across the frontend and backend.
• Build modern, responsive user interfaces with React and develop efficient server-side solutions using Node.js.
• Translate business and technical requirements into well-structured technical solutions and production-ready software.
• Participate in the design and evolution of application architecture, applying software engineering best practices with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performance.
• Review code produced by other team members, providing constructive feedback and helping maintain high engineering standards.
• Monitor application performance, stability, and reliability, identifying opportunities for optimization and addressing technical issues proactively.
• Work closely with developers, product/business stakeholders, and other teams to understand requirements and contribute to project planning and technical specifications.
• Take end-to-end ownership of assigned development tasks, from initial analysis through implementation, testing, and delivery.
• Contribute to a collaborative engineering culture through knowledge sharing, problem solving, and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on JavaScript.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience developing and supporting production applications with React and Node.js.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, React, HTML, and CSS/SCSS, including a solid understanding of React’s component lifecycle and application patterns.
• Good understanding of UI/UX and information design, with an ability to build intuitive and user-friendly applications.
• Experience working with RESTful APIs, web services, and/or microservices-based architectures.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Comfortable using Git and modern software development workflows.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a structured and methodical approach to technical challenges.
