IT Security Engineer

ΙΤ Security Engineer The role will:

Lead Security Monitoring & Incident Response activities, ensuring timely detection and mitigation of threats

Manage Vulnerability Management & Patch Governance processes to maintain system integrity

Oversee Cloud Security Management, implementing controls and monitoring cloud environments

Ensure Network & Infrastructure Security, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and network segmentation

Administer Identity & Access Management (IAM, PAM, MFA) policies and procedures

Conduct Compliance & Risk Assessments to align with regulatory and internal requirements

Participate in Security Architecture & Design Reviews, including Penetration Testing

Support Security Awareness & Training initiatives to strengthen organizational security culture

Requirements

BSc in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent is required; a Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

At least 3 years of experience in Security Engineering role

Proven experience in Network Management, preferably Fortinet

Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Azure Security Specialty)

Proficiency in automation & scripting (PowerShell, Python)

Solid understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) and hybrid infrastructures

Knowledge of DevSecOps practices

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
