We’re partnering with a high-growth, global SaaS company operating at the forefront of secure data infrastructure for payments and digital commerce. Their platform is trusted by major enterprises, fintechs, and financial institutions worldwide to handle highly sensitive information at scale.

They’re now hiring a Lead Java Developer with expertise in AWS to join a core Platform Services team responsible for the security, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical systems.

This is a hands-on senior individual contributor role focused on designing and building highly secure, cloud-native backend services, particularly around authentication, authorization, observability, and platform capabilities used across the entire product suite.

Languages: Java 21

Frameworks: Spring, Netty, Apache Mina

Cloud & Infra: AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm

Data & Messaging: Kafka (MSK), PostgreSQL/Aurora

Observability: Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry

✅ What We're Looking For

• ~10 years of backend software engineering experience (product environment preferred)
• Deep expertise in Java and distributed systems
• Strong background in cloud-native architecture and microservices
• Experience building systems on AWS with containers and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of authentication, authorization, and security best practices
• Experience with observability tooling and production systems at scale
