As a Lead Machine Learning & AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and scaling end-to-end machine learning solutions that drive measurable business value.
You will work hands-on with predictive and machine learning techniques—such as logistic regression, random forests, gradient boosting models, and neural networks—leveraging modern ML frameworks and big data platforms to solve complex, real-world problems.
A core responsibility of the role is to lead deep analytical exploration in ambiguous problem spaces, taking ownership from data understanding and model development through to deployment in cloud environments.
You will collaborate cross-functionally with data, engineering, and business stakeholders, clearly communicating complex technical concepts and insights to non-technical audiences through impactful visualizations and storytelling.
This role is ideal for a technically strong, forward-thinking professional who thrives in fast-moving environments and wants to shape scalable, production-ready AI solutions with tangible impact.
The key responsibilities of this role will include:
Technical & ML / GenAI Engineering Leadership:
Act as Lead ML Engineer on complex AI, ML, and GenAI projects.
Design, develop, and deploy production-grade AI systems including ML, GenAI, LLMs, RAG pipelines, Agentic and multimodal AI.
Lead adoption of ML, GenAI, and LLMOps best practices including CI/CD, versioning, monitoring, evaluation, and retraining.
Review architectures and code to ensure quality, scalability, security, and maintainability.
Project & Delivery Ownership:
Lead AI/ML projects from requirements analysis through production deployment.
Translate business problems into scalable AI and GenAI solutions.
Coordinate scope, timelines, risks, and delivery quality.
People Management & Team Development
Manage, mentor, and grow a team of ML Engineers and Senior ML Engineers.
Set objectives, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
Support hiring and onboarding.
Client Engagement & AI Solution Design:
Engage directly with clients to identify AI, ML, and GenAI opportunities.
Lead AI solution proposals, workshops, and presentations.
Act as a trusted technical advisor.
Cross-Team Collaboration
Collaborate with Software Architects, Data Engineers, Backend Engineers, and Cloud/DevOps teams.
Ensure seamless integration of AI solutions into enterprise systems.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
7+ years of experience in Software or Data engineering and 2+ years in AI/ML projects, building AI/GenAI applications.Expertise and a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving Generative AI landscape, GenAI architectures, including RAG pipelines and model evaluation frameworks.
String background in Python, ML frameworks and LLM tooling.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
Effective leadership and communication skills.
A collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn and share knowledge.
Self-motivation and the ability to drive projects with minimal supervision.
Experience with Azure cloud AI services (e.g. Azure OpenAI, Azure ML).
Experience in Team leading, consulting or client-facing roles.
