Mid/Senior Java Software Engineer

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a talented Backend Software Engineer to join our superstar engineering team. In particular we are looking for highly motivated individuals to build world class platforms and applications utilizing cutting edge technologies for our European and US clients. You’ll be part of a team implementing state of the art, pragmatic architecture through modern development stacks.

What You Will Do:

• Design, implement and maintain Java applications that are often high-volume and low-latency, required for mission-critical systems
• Write well-designed, efficient and testable code
• Conduct software analysis, programming, testing and debugging
• Manage Java and Spring/Java EE application development
• Prepare and produce software component releases
• Develop new functionality and support existing ones, according to the customer’s requirements

Qualifications & Core Skills:

• Strong knowledge and understanding of Java fundamentals
• Experience working with Spring Boot or Java EE (or other application frameworks)
• Experience with Java Enterprise Tooling
• Strong knowledge and experience with RDBMS (NoSql Experience is nice to have)
• Good understanding of code version control tools (Git)
• Clean Code Fundamentals - writing testable code
• Good understanding of software testing and QA methodologies
• Strong understanding of HTTP semantics
• Good understanding of modern authentication and authorization methods
• Ability to speak and write in English
• Team play mindset with good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
• Agile and interactive approach to work mindset
• Ability to take on ownership of large projects in a very dynamic and adaptive environment
