Due to the continuous growth of our company, we are currently looking for a Senior Backend Developer (.NET) to join our team.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs following best practices (versioning, pagination, filtering, rate limiting, idempotency).
Architect and implement backend systems using microservices or modular monolith approaches, applying DDD, CQRS (where appropriate), and event-driven patterns.
Build and optimize database-centric applications, including schema design, query optimization, indexing, transactions, and migrations.
Develop and operate services in cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS), leveraging managed services and containerized workloads.
Ensure performance, reliability, and scalability through caching strategies, asynchronous processing, resiliency patterns (retries, circuit breakers), load testing, and profiling.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, RBAC, secure secrets management, and OWASP guidelines.
Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and deployment automation.
Contribute to observability and production readiness, including logging, metrics, distributed tracing, alerting, and SLOs.
B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
Minimum 4 years of proven experience delivering backend systems that support real-world business and customer needs.
Strong background in .NET / C# backend development, with experience in production environments.
Solid understanding of cloud-based systems and their impact on cost, scalability, and reliability.
Fluency in Greek and in English, both written and spoken.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills, ability to work under tight deadlines.
