Senior Full-Stack Developer / Tech Lead

HyperMorph has been developing web and mobile software solutions for the medical sector for more than 17 years.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer / Tech Lead to join our development team.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role combining software development with the day-to-day technical guidance and coordination of a small team of developers.

We are looking for someone who enjoys writing good software, but also enjoys helping other developers become more effective.

What you’ll do

As our Tech Lead, you will:

• Provide day-to-day technical guidance to a team of approximately 3–4 developers
• Help developers solve technical problems and unblock their work
• Translate requirements and priorities into clear, actionable development tasks
• Coordinate and prioritize the team’s daily development work
• Perform code reviews and ensure high standards of code quality
• Make and contribute to technical and architectural decisions
• Mentor developers and help them improve their technical skills
• Monitor development progress and identify technical risks or delays early
• Work closely with management on priorities, requirements and delivery
• Remain hands-on and contribute directly to development, especially on complex or critical tasks
• Improve development practices, documentation and technical standards

Our core technology stack

Our applications are primarily built using:

• PHP
• MySQL
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• HTML / CSS
• Svelte and other modern JavaScript frameworks
• Yii / Symfony / Slim
• Git and CI/CD workflows

Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to quickly understand and work with an existing codebase are more important to us than knowing every specific framework.

What we’re looking for

• Strong professional experience in full-stack web development
• Very good knowledge of PHP, JavaScript and relational databases
• Solid understanding of OOP, MVC and modern software architecture principles
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
• Experience with code reviews and maintaining code quality
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and help other developers solve problems
• Good organizational and communication skills
• A practical and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to take ownership and make sound technical decisions

Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Team Lead or Senior Developer responsible for mentoring and coordinating other developers is highly valued.

A degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a related field is welcome, but equivalent professional experience is equally valuable.

• Tailwind, Bootstrap or Material
• Capacitor or similar web/mobile runtimes
• CI/CD and automated deployment processes

Compensation

€3,500–€4,500 gross per month × 14 salaries, depending on experience and technical/leadership background.

Higher compensation can be considered for candidates with significant and proven Tech Lead experience.
