Software Engineer

At Propulsion Analytics, we pioneer the use of engineering simulation models and advanced analytics for vessel and engine performance evaluation and fault diagnosis in the maritime industry.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team and support the development of engineering-driven modern software platforms used in real-world operational and analytical environments. The successful candidate will be involved in the design and development of web-based applications and services that support engineering analysis and decision-making. The role includes close collaboration with engineers and domain experts to translate technical requirements into reliable and maintainable software solutions.

This position offers the opportunity to work on innovative software products while leveraging modern development practices and AI-assisted tools.

Required Qualifications & Experience The applicant should hold a relevant degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline, and have practical experience in:

• Designing and developing web-based applications and services, full stack
• Writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured software code
• Designing and consuming REST-based APIs
• Working with data-driven applications

Additional Skills Will Be Considered an Asset

• Previous exposure to engineering-centric domains (maritime, energy, industrial systems, or similar)
• Experience working in cross-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with AI‑assisted or agentic software development tools
