Σχετικά
Lead Database Administrator & Architect with 15+ years across database engineering, administration, and large-scale migrations. I specialize in keeping high-transaction, mission-critical systems online, fast, and recoverable — across Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, on Windows Server, Ubuntu, and Red Hat.
What I bring
🔹 24/7 production reliability — HA/DR architecture (Always On Availability Groups, Failover Clustering, Log Shipping) with zero data loss under pressure.
🔹 Deep troubleshooting — cut OLTP deadlocks by 95% through indexing, isolation-level tuning, and query redesign.
🔹 Large-scale migration leadership — led a full SQL Server → PostgreSQL migration: 40 databases, 1.2TB, 300+ stored procedures, zero business disruption.
🔹 Automation-first operations — PowerShell/dbatools, Ansible, Jenkins, and Azure Data Factory to replace manual DBA work with repeatable, monitored pipelines
I work best in high-stakes environments where downtime isn't an option and where migrations, incident response, and performance problems need someone who's seen the failure mode before.
Open to Lead DBA, Database Architect, or Database Reliability roles — remote or hybrid, UK/EU.
