Marcin Klocek

I am a project/design architect (Master degree) with computer programming background and 20+ years of experience in overall project design and management specifically using digital methods (incl. BIM) – in Hong Kong, Singapore and Middle East.

Kong over the last 20 years, I was involved in high profile projects including XRL MTR station, full statutory submissions from BIM (Revit) models (no CAD), Revit and BIM standards based on ISO 10650 and education including 3,5 years as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Architecture at The University of Hong Kong. For the past four years I led digital transformation for MTR Corporation in Hong Kong and for the past two years I contributed to the works of Hong Kong Construction Industry Council (CIC) as a Chairman of CIC Task Group for BIM Specification.

I am a project/design architect (Master degree) with 20 years of experience in BIM and digital design systems, processes and workflows, with computer programming background (rare skill for architects), BIM specialist / consultant / educator and:

• Professional member of Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modeling (HKIBIM).
• Former academic teacher in BIM at the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Hong Kong (MArch program).
• Autodesk Revit Certified Professional
• Speaker at Autodesk University (AU) in Las Vegas in 2011 and 2012.
• Speaker at the Revit Technology Conference (RTC) Asia in Singapore in 2015.
• Speaker at the Hong Kong AIAB (Autodesk Industry Advisory Board) Conference in 2017.

• University of Detroit Mercy, Faculty of Architecture, USA - an exchange program with the Faculty of Architecture of the Warsaw University of Technology.
