I am very passionate about Net Zero emission targets, sustainability evaluation, the evolution towards a circular economy, and the due diligence processes associated with it. I am familiar with global frameworks like TCFD, CDP, GRI and UNSDG disclosures and the related reporting standards, and the implementation of groundbreaking technology in the field of environment protection. As the founder of Dhara Biotech, a leading R&D, agricultural and environmental consultancy, I have advised prominent clients such as OIL India, ONGC, INTAS Pharmaceuticals, P&G Tea, Kuwait Oil Company and Ashok Builders for 17 years.
Since relocating to Hong Kong with my family, I have specialized in consulting on green and brownfield waste water treatment plant projects. I have led high-performing teams of environmental consultants to deliver government-funded research, consultancy services and private-sector projects for the technology development of advanced processes for Effluent and sewage treatment. I am recognized as an expert in designing effluent treatment plants (ETP) and sewage treatment plants (STP) that leave a low physical footprint and have high energy efficiency.
My years of commercial experience in this field complement my PhD in microbiology, M.Sc. in biotechnology and B.Sc. in industrial chemistry.
