Senior Full Stack Engineer – Angular & Node.js at BairesDev In this role, you'll join an engineering team working on a custom patient health record system covering visits, medications, scheduling, and ordering. Owning features end to end, you'll move fluidly between Angular and Node.js as the work requires. This is your opportunity to be a true full-stack engineer on a meaningful healthcare product, working alongside a tight-knit team during a focused effort to work down backlog.
What You'll Do
- Own features end to end across Angular frontend and Node.js backend.
- Build and maintain production Node.js backend services.
- Integrate with third-party systems via webhooks.
- Work with Aurora MySQL to support application data needs.
- Collaborate closely with a small, cross-functional engineering team.
What We Are Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Angular.
- Proven production experience with Node.js backend development, true full stack rather than frontend with light API exposure.
- Experience with Aurora MySQL.
- Background with webhook-based third-party integrations.
- Experience with AWS.
- Availability to work Pacific hours.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice To Have
- Experience with Claude for AI-assisted coding.
- Experience with embedded third-party UI integration.
- Background with HIPAA/PHI handling.
- Experience in patient health record or clinical workflow domains.
