How to Write and Publish a Blog Article

2026-02-282 min olvasás

Getting Started

To write a new blog article, open your dashboard and select Blog from the sidebar, then click New Article. This opens the BeBee editor where you can compose, format, and publish your content.

Using the Rich Text Editor

BeBee uses a TipTap-powered rich text editor that gives you full control over your content:

  • Text formatting -- Bold, italic, underline, strikethrough, and code inline styles are available in the toolbar.
  • Headings -- Structure your article with H2 and H3 headings for readability and SEO.
  • Lists -- Create ordered (numbered) or unordered (bullet) lists.
  • Links -- Highlight text and click the link icon to add a hyperlink.
  • Images -- Upload images directly into the body of your article. Supported formats include JPG, PNG, and WebP.
  • Blockquotes -- Use the quote block for callouts or cited text.

Organizing Your Article

Before publishing, fill in the metadata fields below the editor:

  1. Title -- Write a clear, descriptive title. This becomes the page heading and the browser tab title.
  2. Meta description -- Add a short summary (under 160 characters). Search engines display this in results, so make it compelling.
  3. Category -- Choose a category that best fits your topic. Categories help readers browse related content.
  4. Tags -- Add relevant tags to improve discoverability. Use specific terms your audience would search for.

Publishing Your Article

When your article is ready:

  1. Review your content using the Preview option.
  2. Confirm that the title, meta description, category, and tags are set.
  3. Click Publish.
Your article is now live. It appears on your profile, in the BeBee blog feed, and is indexed for search engines with structured data automatically applied.

Tips for Better Articles

  • Keep paragraphs short -- two to four sentences works best on screen.
  • Use headings to break up long content so readers can scan quickly.
  • Include at least one image to increase engagement.
  • Write a strong opening sentence that tells readers what they will learn.
