Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer with strong JavaScript and Angular skills to join our development team in Budapest, Hungary. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications using modern frontend technologies.

The successful candidate will work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality frontend solutions while following established coding standards and software development best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Build reusable UI components and frontend modules using Angular best practices.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs with backend services.
• Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional, accessible user interfaces.
• Implement responsive layouts using HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling techniques.
• Manage application state, routing, forms, and data binding within Angular applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-structured code.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application quality.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of frontend standards.
• Collaborate with backend developers, UX/UI designers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve performance, browser compatibility, and usability issues.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver features according to agreed timelines.
• Use Git and established CI/CD processes to support development and release activities.

Required Skills and Experience

• 4–6 years of professional experience in frontend development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and modern frontend application development.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience building reusable components, services, modules, and applications using Angular.
• Knowledge of Angular concepts such as components, directives, pipes, services, dependency injection, routing, and reactive forms.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and handling asynchronous data.
• Familiarity with RxJS and Observables.
• Understanding of frontend performance optimisation and browser debugging tools.
• Experience with Git-based version control and collaborative development.
• Knowledge of frontend testing tools such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress.
• Understanding of web accessibility, usability, and frontend security best practices.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Angular Material, Bootstrap, or other UI component libraries.
• Familiarity with state management tools such as NgRx.
• Exposure to Node.js and npm-based development workflows.
• Knowledge of Webpack, Vite, or other frontend build tools.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of microservices and frontend integration with distributed backend systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and international development teams.

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
