A Fullstack PHP Architect has a vital role within our engineering team, focused on building solutions for our clients’ digital products. This position plays a key part in ensuring the scalability and efficiency of applications and addressing technical challenges. With your expertise, you will help drive innovation and ensure our solutions meet the highest standards, providing value and reliability to our partners.

Please note that this is a remote-first position, but candidates must be located in Hungary, Spain, or Romania. No relocation program available.

What we expect

7 years+ experience building high performance, secure, scalable solutions in PHP and other other back end technologies such as .NET and Node.js

Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony or Yii2

You are experienced building modern javascript/typescript based front ends using the likes of React, Angular or VueJS

You have experience with RDBMS technologies like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL and indexing tools (Elastic, OpenSearch, Solr)

Experience with building cloud native solutions in AWS and/or Azure

You have experience working in a CI/CD environment on AWS or Azure, and have knowledge of IAC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, ARM

You are familiar with unit, integration, and E2E testing and related frameworks (e.g., Jest, Cypress, Puppeteer, Mocha)

You are skilled at designing and implementing future-proof, scalable systems, consistently keeping scalability and performance in mind throughout the development process

Participating in the pre-sales and discovery phases to gain a deeper understanding of the project scope and objectives, enabling you to contribute more valuable ideas from the beginning

Ability to have an impact , guide and motivate the team members to ensure employee's growth and foster a great environment .

Ability to effectively and efficiently plan, organize tasks, and manage time to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.

Ability to define a problem to determine its cause, identify it, prioritize and select alternative solutions to implement in solving the problems and reviving relationships.

Strong in software design: refers to all the activities involved in conceptualizing, framing, implementing and ultimately modifying complex systems.

Ability to provide value to the client , in a fast , efficient and quality-focused way. Coordination with delivery team members and manager to overseeing the development and bring help if necessary.

Skills and requirements

At least 7 years of experience in a Fullstack Engineering role A willingness to understand the client’s business model and requirements

Familiarity with working in an international environment, using verbal English daily A passion for producing exceptional work and maintaining high-quality standards

Comfort with being part of an agile team and collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders The ability to communicate obstacles, needs, and expectations politely and constructively

Proactiveness and a continuous improvement mindset

Familiarity with a remote-first culture (though you’re welcome to visit the office if you’d like!

Support and monitor the development of the technical design and identify when change may be required.

Be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and design suitable technical solutions related to the project domain.

Work with your team, and other internal teams, to identify new opportunities, be they with existing clients or more generally based on new technical opportunities.

Be pragmatic without sacrificing quality in any process they are involved in (projects, presales, etc.)

Have a big picture approach considering business requirement s/constraints/opportunities.

Define/understand technical and logic architectures based on the evolution of the technology and business.

Understand functional requirements and quality constraints to ensure that the tech solution covers them and adapt it if necessary.
