Java Software Engineer

We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join a global technology team working on large-scale, real-time systems within the financial services industry.

Job responsibilites:

• Develop scalable backend applications using Java, Spring & Spring Boot
• Work with microservices and distributed systems
• Design and develop database solutions and data services
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate with international teams in an Agile environment
• Contribute to architecture, development and ongoing improvement of complex applications

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Java
• Experience with Spring / Spring Boot
• Good understanding of microservices
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Knowledge of database design & modelling
• Understanding of SDLC / Agile
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in an international team

Nice to have

• Python
• MongoDB / NoSQL
• Kafka / Spark
• Spring Batch / Spring Cloud
• AWS / Azure / GCP
• Financial services or trading technology experience
