Get to know the role
We build a multi-tenant SaaS platform for secure document workflows in a regulated domain - cryptographic trust operations, long-running business processes, and AI-assisted document intelligence. This isn't CRUD over a database: correctness matters, a signature has to mean something, and distributed state has to survive partial failure.
You'll join a small, senior-leaning team that owns what it ships, from design through production. If you value deliberate decisions and explicit contracts over quick fixes, you'll feel at home here.
What we offer?
- You will be part of a young, supportive, and dynamic team where junior and more experienced colleagues collaborate closely, support each other, and openly share their knowledge and experience.
- You will work in a modern technology environment where you can freely use the latest tools, technologies, and AI-driven solutions to support your work and drive innovation.
- To make your workdays more enjoyable, we provide unlimited coffee so you can recharge during breaks and informal moments with your colleagues.
- We offer a competitive and above-market salary that reflects your expertise, performance, and the energy you invest in your work.
- In addition to competitive base benefits, after successfully completing your probation period you will also receive a high-value cafeteria benefits package that can be flexibly tailored to your personal needs and lifestyle.
- The health and well-being of our employees is important to us, which is why after your probation period we provide a comprehensive private health insurance package, allowing you to focus on your work while feeling secure in your everyday life.
- In this role, you can expect a high degree of autonomy, giving space for initiative and ownership, while also offering opportunities for rapid professional growth and continuous learning.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Trust & cryptography - document integrity pipelines and certificate handling at the core of our trust services.
- Durable workflows - Temporal orchestrates our long-running business processes. You'll design idempotent activities, retry policies, and the commit-ordering discipline that keeps distributed state honest.
- Document processing - ingestion, conversion, rendering, and Office-format interoperability at scale.
- Multi-tenant authorization - OIDC, enterprise identity integration, org hierarchies, and policy-based access control.
- Eventing & real-time - Kafka streams and server-pushed updates to the frontend.
- AI features - LLM-backed document understanding and extraction.
- Production ownership - you ship what you build and keep it healthy: observability, alerting, and a hand in on-call.
Our stack:
Python 3.14 · FastAPI · Pydantic v2 · SQLAlchemy 2 (async) Alembic · PostgreSQL · MongoDB · Redis · Kafka · Temporal · OIDC identity provider · S3 · structlog Prometheus · Docker/Kubernetes on AWS · uv / ruff / ty / pre-commit · pytest (parallel, against real services) · GitHub Actions
This opportunity is for you if you…
- have 3 years of production Python and deep comfort with async I/O - you know what blocks an event loop and what holds a pooled connection too long,
- have operated distributed systems in production, with a real grasp of idempotency, at-least-once delivery, retries, and partial failure,
- design API and service-layer contracts deliberately - typed schemas, typed exceptions, explicit tenant context - and update every call site when one changes,
- know PostgreSQL well: schema design, migrations, transaction boundaries, and query behavior under concurrency,
- are at home in Docker - containerized dev environments and test suites that run against real services,
- are fluent with AI-assisted coding workflows,
- take ownership end-to-end - you see a change through from design to production, not just to merge,
- communicate trade-offs clearly and review others' work with the same care you'd want on your own,
- are a native Hungarian speaker (spoken and written) with professional English.
It’s a plus if you...
- have a background in PKI or have worked in a regulated domain (e.g. eIDAS, trust services, finance, healthcare),
- bring hands-on experience with identity and access management (IAM),
- have run Kafka in high-throughput, production-scale environments,
- understand PDF internals - structure, parsing, generation, and signing,
- have designed log and metric taxonomies and built observability with Grafana and alerting,
- have built or maintained Python-based machine learning systems.
What happens after you apply?
- Once your application reaches us, our team carefully reviews it to see how well your experience and skills match the role.
- If there’s a strong fit, we’ll invite you to a short introductory phone call to go through the key details and get to know each other.
- As a next step, you’ll be invited to a personal interview with our HR team and the hiring manager. This is a great opportunity for you to learn more about the role, the team, and ask any questions about the day-to-day work.
Who we are?
We are a global trust-technology company with more than 25 years of experience in digital identity, advanced cryptography, and qualified trust services. Originating in Hungary and operating internationally with offices in Florida, US and Budapest, HU, we combine European regulatory strength with global reach.
Our team includes one of the region’s largest groups of PKI specialists, cryptographers, and security engineers, experts who have helped shaping the foundations of modern digital trust. As one of Europe’s earliest Qualified Trust Service Providers, we pioneered solutions in electronic signatures, identity verification, cryptographic infrastructure, and content authenticity.
Today, we enable organizations not only to verify identities and sign securely, but to trust their digital world in a way that was never possible before. At the heart of this leap forward is our world-first twin-engine solution: the fusion of C2PA provenance and qualified electronic signatures. This breakthrough creates a verifiable chain of trust for any digital asset, from documents to images to complex media, redefining what authenticity means in the age of AI.
It elevates our long-standing trust-service foundations into a new standard for digital truth.
As technology evolves, we are committed to integrating the latest breakthroughs in cryptography, provenance, and AI-driven verification, ensuring trust remains one step ahead of innovation. Our mission is simple: To restore trust in the digital world.
