We're Hiring Data Engineer

Location: Kebon Jeruk, West Jakarta

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days WFO, 2 days WFH)

About the Role

Insignia is looking for a Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines while supporting data migration and cloud data engineering projects for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines using Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Build and maintain data solutions using Databricks, Delta Lake, and AWS services.
• Execute data migration, including data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
• Develop data models and implement data quality checks to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
• Monitor production pipelines, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Take ownership of project deliverables and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Data Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, preferably Delta Lake, Auto Loader, and Databricks Workflows.
• Practical experience with AWS data services, such as S3, Glue, RDS/Aurora, or Redshift.
• Proven experience in data migration across databases or data platforms.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data modeling, and data lakehouse architecture.
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Able to work independently and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in technology consulting or client-facing projects.
• Familiarity with Docker, data quality frameworks, and pipeline monitoring.
• AWS or Databricks certifications are a plus.
