Java Software Developer (Springboot)

We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Developer with solid hands-on experience in Spring Boot to contribute to building scalable and high-performing backend systems. In this role, you will take part in designing, developing, and enhancing backend services while maintaining system reliability, security, and a well-structured architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient and dependable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and enhance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support application functionalities and integrations
• Ensure system performance, security, and clean, maintainable code standards
• Assist in developing and maintaining microservices-based systems
• Actively contribute to Agile/Scrum practices for continuous improvement
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to solve development challenges

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience with Spring Boot (or 3 years with Quarkus)
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and RESTful API principles
• Experience working with MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Familiar with microservices architecture, Git, and CI/CD processes
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Able to work both independently and within a team
• Willing to work onsite (WFO) in Jakarta
