Research Assistant at Intelligent System and Robotics (ISR) Laboratory (2024-01 – 2026-01)
IEEE Student Branch–affiliated, focused on intelligent control systems for biomedical and agrotechnology
- Conducted end-to-end R&D of assistive health technology systems, spanning embedded hardware design, firmware development, and real-time AI integration, including a post-stroke rehabilitation exoskeleton and a sign language translator.
- Designed and fabricated custom wearable biosensors targeting multiple physiological modalities, including surface EMG, finger joint kinematics via smart glove, grip force, and fingertip pressure, as multi-channel inputs to an embedded AI control system.
- Built and deployed full-cycle machine learning pipelines integrated directly into embedded hardware, covering data acquisition, preprocessing, feature engineering, model training and evaluation, and real-time deployment, across classical models such as k-nearest neighbor, support vector regressor, decision tree, and random forest, and deep learning architectures including CNN (VGG16) and LSTM.
- Executed end-to-end PCB development covering schematic design, circuit layout, and DRC validation prior to fabrication, with analog circuitry implemented to support signal stability and sensor accuracy.
- Designed and 3D printed robotic mechanical structures and device enclosures using Autodesk Inventor, ensuring structural precision and seamless fit with embedded electronic components.
Laboratory Assistant at Electronics Laboratory (2022-07 – 2023-11)
- Collaborated with course instructors to develop a structured semester-based curriculum, ensuring all laboratory modules aligned with the official syllabus (RPS).
- Configured experimental setups and electronic components for weekly sessions, covering fundamental components including diodes, transistors, ICs, sensors, and microcontrollers, alongside measurement and analysis tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Instructed 50+ students through weekly hands-on laboratory sessions and evaluated technical competency through practical examinations.
Technician, Internship at Usada Selaras Gemilang Healthcare (2023-01 – 2023-02)
- Assisted in the installation and commissioning of Samsung Medison ultrasound units in hospital environments, covering electrical verification, service mode validation, DICOM configuration, and image quality testing prior to handover.
- Supported field diagnostics and troubleshooting through hands-on fault isolation and root cause analysis to identify and resolve technical issues accurately.
- Collaborated with application specialists during medical staff training on newly installed systems, and provided technical support to the sales team during procurement and tender processes.
