Gesa Ghefira

Gesa has recent experience as a Hydrographic Surveyor and Data Processor in the oil and gas industry, specializing in offshore and onshore marine data acquisition and processing. Experienced in bathymetric surveys, WADGPS positioning, and marine geophysical surveys, with responsibilities covering both offshore data acquisition and onshore data processing to ensure the accuracy, quality, and reliability of survey results for operational and engineering requirements. In addition, I have a strong background in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), supported by research experience involving spatial data analysis, mapping, and geospatial modeling, with proficiency in processing, analyzing, and visualizing geospatial data using GIS softwares.

Beyond technical expertise, Gesa also possess strong public relations and communication skills developed through active involvement in student organizations during college, which strengthened the ability to collaborate within diverse teams, coordinate projects, and adapt effectively in dynamic working environments.

GNSS Observation Operator at Polinggona Smart Agrofarm PT (2026-05 – Present)

• Performed RTK GNSS stake out survey for in-situ benchmark point determination
• Performed GNSS static observation on 12 benchmark points for survey operations in company's site area
• Performed GNSS static data processing to generate precise positioning and control networks for survey operations using Trimble Business Center (TBC)
• Created report about the activity and data processing results

Hydrographic Surveyor and Data Processor at Pageo Utama PT (2024-10 – 2026-05)

• Conducted bathymetric surveys to support offshore and nearshore engineering and construction activities more than 50 times
• Executed Pipeline Inspection Surveys (PIS) for asset integrity assessment and seabed clearance verification for 5 days
• Performed GNSS static data processing to generate precise positioning and control networks for survey operations more than 10 times
• Supported RAISIS swamp rig move operations positioning systems to ensure safe and accurate rig relocation

• Performed webscraping to list and filter the survey locations (webscrap the AOI) and succesfully recorded 37 tourist spots in Sabang, Aceh
• Assisted researcher in acquiring data (position of locations) using Garmin GPS Handheld up to 10 tourism spots
• Analyzed and made the map for the result of the data to determine each location's trend for geomarketing using QGIS
• Helped the team to support the installation of waterfiltration with solar panel for the electricity

GIS Research Assistant at Institut Teknologi Bandung (2023-08 – 2023-09)

• Performed webscraping to list and filter the survey locations (webscrapped the AOI), succesfully recorded 54 data of tourist spot in Karimunjawa Island
• Assisted researcher in acquiring data (position of locations) using GPS Handheld for around 10 tourist spots in Karimunjawa Island
• Interviewed 30 tourists in Karimunjawa to know their priority about the availability of facilities in the tour spots (such as toilets, restaurants, praying rooms, etc)
• Analyzed and made the map for the result of the data to determine each location's weighting for the geomarketing using QGIS

GIS Student Internship at Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat (PUPR) (2023-07 – 2023-08)

• Produced and inventorized 8 thematic maps of Cimahi City. The example of thematic maps is thematic maps of tree area in Cimahi City and thematic maps of parking area in Cimahi City

GIS Student Internship at National Land Agency of Republic Indonesia (BPN) (2023-07 – 2023-08)

• Edited land parcels of Cimahi City using AutoCAD 2021 x GeoKKP, especially Melong and Cibeureum: Deleted unimportant attributes, digitized land parcels, producing PBT (Peta Blok Tanah) layout for "Partisipasi Masyarakat" activity. Succesfully edited 5 land parcels (RW based) and produced 5 PBT
