A leading Banking Organisation is hiring for a Java Software Engineer to join their team in Dublin.
5+ years hands on experience in design and development of RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Batch, AWS Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), Oracle RDS, and Apigee/API Gateway
5+ years experience in frontend development using React JS, HTML5, CSS3 and Responsive web application development
Must have experience in REST API integrations In depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms
You'll design and build RESTful APIs and microservices, work across the full stack with React/Angular on the frontend, and collaborate closely with engineering teams to deliver scalable, reliable products in an Agile environment.
Design and develop RESTful APIs and Microservices
Apply strong data structures and algorithms knowledge to write clean, reusable, maintainable code
Collaborate with software and production engineers on scalable service design
Conduct code reviews, build robust test suites, and produce high quality technical documentation and user assistance material
Design complex, low maintenance systems and effective service/product interfaces
Lead and deliver software projects with minimal oversight
Work with Scrum/Agile teams, handling multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
Provide technical support and troubleshoot complex issues efficiently
Collaborate effectively across multi cultural, multi national teams and manage stakeholder expectations
Familiarity with JWT/OAuth2, Swagger/YAML documentation
TDD experience with JUnit and Mockito
Proficient in SQL and Stored Procedures (Oracle RDS)
Experience with Unix/Linux, ideally on AWS
Familiarity with Jira, Git/SVN, Jenkins, Maven, CI/CD
Knowledge of Hibernate ORM, TypeScript, Redux, RxJS
Angular, Lodash, Gulp or Webpack
MS SQL Server, Flyway (SQL versioning)
Apache ActiveMQ, PDF generation libraries (iText, Flying Saucer)
End to end/functional/performance testing: Fitnesse, Protractor, Cucumber, JMeter
