Invest in us andwe’llinvest in you!.Job DescriptionThis role is an excellent opportunity for a developer with more than 4 years’ experience in PL/SQL development to apply theiranalytical skillswhile working with product owners, cross-disciplinary teams and QA to deliver high-quality functional solutions.The role involves a number of responsibilities including:
  • Managing project source code and documentation- Developing and maintaining packages for background processing and reports- Developing and maintaining reports using PL/SQL, OAP and APEX- Providing ad hoc reports using SQL and PL/SQL- Analysing and resolving database issues- Advising on Oracle features and best practicesKnowledge of Oracle’s spatial extensions would be beneficial due to a geospatial component in the project.Knowledge of APEX and OAP would also be beneficial.Qualifications- 5 years’ Oracle PL/SQL Developer experience- Good understanding of code version management and code promotion practices in an enterprise environment- Good knowledge of source control tools- Effective communication (written and oral), interpersonal, analytical and organisational skills- Experience with effort estimation and requirements gathering- Database tuning and performance monitoring skills- Understanding of data modelling and database design- Familiarity with preparing and maintaining technical documentation- Completion of an Oracle Professional Certification- Familiarity with unit testing and continuous integration- Knowledge of APEX and OAPAdditional InformationWhy Version 1?At Version 1, we believe in providing our employees with a comprehensive benefits package that prioritises their wellbeing, professional growth, and financial stability.Share in our success with our Quarterly Performance-Related Profit Share Scheme, where employees collectivelybenefitfrom a share of our company's profitsStrong Career Progression & mentorship coaching through our Strength in Balance &
