Programme Manager - Data Migration - Dublin

Our client is a leading global telecommunications organisation undertaking a large-scale, business-critical data migration programme. This role leads the transition from a legacy Data Warehouse platform to a modern cloud-based Data Platform, coordinating all programme workstreams from initiation through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• You will lead the end-to-end data migration programme, coordinating inter-connected workstreams and project activities across technical and business teams.
• You will define programme strategy, objectives, and governance frameworks, while owning programme timelines, budgets, and delivery milestones.
• You will lead, mentor, and evaluate project managers and supporting staff throughout the programme lifecycle, resolving escalated scope and delivery issues as they arise.
• You will manage vendor relationships and programme-level people responsibilities, applying structured change, risk, and resource management practices.
• You will track programme performance to ensure maximum return on investment, providing regular reporting and updates to programme directors and senior stakeholders.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience managing large-scale data migration programmes at enterprise level is required, including end-to-end delivery of two or three complex data migration and transformation programmes.
• A strong background in Data and Analytics projects within a large enterprise environment is essential.

Desirable Experience

• Experience with cloud-based Data and Analytics platforms is advantageous, as is a background in the telecommunications sector.
