Python Developer

Python Developer to join a growing applications team where you'll build technology that supports a fast-moving, real-time business environment. This is a hands-on role offering genuine end-to-end ownership, from gathering requirements and developing solutions through to deployment and ongoing user engagement.
You'll work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders, delivering impactful software solutions while continuing to develop your technical expertise in a supportive and collaborative environment.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop and maintain business-critical applications
- Own projects across the full software development lifecycle
- Work directly with users to understand requirements and deliver solutions
- Develop, test and deploy high-quality software
- Collaborate with IT, operational and business teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement and best practices
- 3-5 years' commercial software development experience
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience working with SQL and relational databases
- Knowledge of Git and version control best practices
- Experience with automated testing
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- A proactive mindset and willingness to learn new technologies
- AWS, Azure or other cloud platform experience
- CI/CD pipeline experience
- Infrastructure as Code knowledge
