With over 50 years in business, our client has built a strong reputation for quality delivery and long-term client relationships.

Due to continued growth, they are now seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Charlestown, Co. Mayo.

Overview:

Joining a team of 7 QS's, the successful Quantity Surveyor, will play a key role in the commercial management of projects, working closely with project teams and senior management to ensure successful financial delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates
• Management and administration of contracts and subcontractor agreements
• Monitoring project costs and ensuring budgets are adhered to
• Producing valuations, variations, and final accounts
• Liaising with clients, Tier 1 contractors, and internal teams
• Supporting project delivery through strong commercial awareness

Requirements:

• Level 7 or Level 8 Degree in Quantity Surveying (or related discipline)
• Minimum 3 years’ post-graduate experience in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid commercial awareness
• Good understanding of construction methods and practices
• Proven experience in quantity take-offs and contract management
• Proficient in the MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience using Callidus software (or similar) is advantageous, but not essential
