Job description
- Cpl is partnering with a leading global technology and data-driven organisation that is expanding its engineering team in Dublin. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Full Stack Engineer to work on cutting-edge digital products, modern cloud-native platforms, and emerging AI-powered solutions within a highly collaborative environment.
- This role offers the opportunity to influence technical direction, contribute to architecture decisions, and help deliver innovative software solutions that support large-scale enterprise clients.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Python on the backend and React on the frontend.
- Build modern APIs, microservices, and event-driven services that support complex business and AI-enabled solutions.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and engineering best practices.
- Develop and integrate AI-driven capabilities, automation tools, and intelligent workflow solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Drive code quality, security, performance optimisation, and maintainability across the software development lifecycle.
- Support CI/CD initiatives and contribute to DevOps and automation practices.
- Mentor team members and promote engineering excellence across the wider development team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across both frontend and backend systems.
- Participate in Agile delivery processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- 5+ years' experience in software engineering with strong full-stack development expertise.
- Strong backend development experience using Python and modern frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
- Advanced React.js development skills with experience building modern, responsive user interfaces.
- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies, LLM integrations, agent frameworks, or related technologies would be highly advantageous.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, and scalable application design.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
- Degree qualified in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
