IT Search has partnered with a leading financial services organisation to hire experienced Java Developers to work on high-performance trading technology within a sophisticated engineering environment.

This is an opportunity to tackle complex engineering challenges, building scalable, performance-critical systems where concurrency, throughput and reliability are key. With multiple positions available, there's scope for engineers at different stages of seniority to make an impact.

The Role

• Develop high-performance Java applications for financial markets.
• Build scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Solve complex challenges around concurrency, distributed systems and performance.
• Work with Kafka, cloud infrastructure and event-driven architectures.
• Drive code quality, automated testing and CI/CD.

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of commercial Java development experience.
• Strong knowledge of concurrency, multithreading and distributed systems.
• Experience with Spring Boot, PostgreSQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Docker and cloud platforms.
• Financial services or low-latency experience is a plus.
