Currently working towards my QFA having completed loans, regulations, pensions and life assurance. Previously worked as a mortgage case manager in a busy brokers working with 6 lenders. Working as a loan officer in AIB at present.

AIB – Direct Banking Sales 

October 2022 – Present

• I am currently working as a personal loan consultant responsible for completing loan application with customers on a daily basis. From personal loans, green loans, student loans, hire purchase and restructuring and refinancing existing loan. 
• Product switch and applications for credit cards and over drafts. 
• My day consist of both email and phone interaction on a daily basis with customers advising them on best products and services available to them. Helping them make the best choices for hire approval chances. 
• As I take customers through the loan application process I review account activity checking how accounts are managing and preforming keeping a keen eye for any suspicious activity and reporting necessary suspicions to management. 
• In cases where application are not fast tracked approved I draft memos and lenders report to support applicants meeting net disposable income criteria for appeal applications.
• Upselling meeting with CFP team and selling home and car insurance to customers. 
• Experience working on systems such as Agent desktop and New banking platform (NBP)

November 2021 – October 2022 

• Working in a fast pace brokerage with 7 lenders. Experience working with Haven, Finance Ireland, PTSB, BOI, Avant, ICS & KBC. 
• Daily tasks include reviewing client’s mortgage documents on credit logic, responding to clients queries via email & phone, submitting applications to lenders. Following up on cases with lenders & solicitors. 
• Responsible for assisting clients throughout their mortgage journey by firstly gathering and reviewing required documentation to their personal circumstance, bringing clients from AIP all the way to draw down. 
• Advising clients on documents required to each personal case

I am APA qualified in loans, regulations, life & pensions. Working towards completing QFA.
