About

Medical and population health professional seeking to contribute to and deliver for, a progressive higher education institution that delivers high-quality research and education and is ‘leading the world to better health’. My professional mission aligns with the RCSI strategy aims of improving the health of society in partnership with patients and the public in support of better health and well-being for all. Specifically, the demands of the VISTA programme manager role including management, leadership and administration while considering the depth and breadth of the project stakeholders needs, meet my skillset and my interest, given the project application to the population of Ireland.

Implementing policy effectively fits with my desire to work to improve health via an upstream prevention policy approach. I have a strong track record of delivering for my employers and for the population I serve in each project, by planning, managing and delivering health promoting projects and programmes to a high professional standard. Since 2022 I have transitioned my career into the university sector, my varied higher educational institutional experience, as well as my experience of working in clinical frontline roles across multiple healthcare settings and specialities would enhance my ability to build relationships with all professional and public stakeholders in this project.

Planning, organising, scheduling, presenting, accuracy in administration records, budgeting and program management are areas which I wish to continue to master and deliver on, which are required in this RCSI role.
