With over 3 years agency experience creating fun, engaging ideas and copy for a range of clients, whether it was a whiskey or a charity. I enjoy sinking my teeth into a brief whether it's for a campaign or a simple, snappy headline.
The Public House was my first agency after my masters. Here I developed from junior into intermediate, getting to make ideas I was proud of and being able to follow them through the production phases, e.g., VO and radio recordings. I also became more familiar with running social media posts, finessing parasocial language for a brand that prided itself on being Gen Z orientated.
Then there was the various training I did with D&AD – one that helped me hone my craft in copy, another that taught me new techniques in creative brainstorming and a third to help me get ideas across to clients in an engaging way.
I completed a Masters of Science in Advertising at Technical University Dublin. Here we were taught the ins and outs of planning, account management, PR and some basics in Adobe Creative Suite. We then had agency professionals as lecturers imparting their subjective knowledge on how to brainstorm, get out of slumps and more. All the creatives came out of the course capable of both art direction and copywriting.
